HOW DO I BOOK YOU FOR MY WEDDING?
A signed contract as well a $150 deposit is required at the time of booking. No date will be held without a deposit. The remaining balance is due on the wedding day as one payment.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY BRIDAL TRIAL?
Having some photos of inspiration on-hand is highly recommended – this will allow me to collect an idea of the wedding day look you are aiming for! Also, wear a white top or a shirt with an open neckline. And of course, don’t forget to bring a photo of your DRESS!
DO YOU TRAVEL?
Yes! My home base is New Orleans, Lousiana but I love to travel. Take me to a new city or a new country! I am available for destination weddings worldwide.
WHAT IS YOUR TRAVEL FEE?
My travel fee is $100 for the first 30 minutes to destination. If the distance is over 30 minutes it’ll be an additional $50 every half hour. (For example: 1 hour is $150 and 1.5 hours is $200) If a second makeup artist is required or requested, the travel fee will duplicate. If travel time exceeds 2 hours, a hotel accommodation may be required for the makeup artist. Inquire for destination travel pricing.
WHAT DOES THE TRAVEL FEE COVER?
Driving time, gas expenses, travel mileage & maintenance following.
HOW DO YOU HANDLE PAYMENT?
I accept cash, Venmo & Zelle.
WHEN IS A SECOND MAKEUP ARTIST NECESSARY?
If the number of persons requesting services on the wedding day exceeds 5 or more, a second makeup artist may be required. This will be confirmed depending on the amount of time that you have available the morning of to get ready.
WHAT IF THERE IS A CANCELLATION?
If a contract must be terminated due to a wedding day cancellation, the bridal client is responsible for 50% of the total cost of services (bridal & bridal party included) booked for her date if canceled within 4 weeks prior to the wedding date. 100% payment will be charged to the bridal client if a cancellation occurs within 7 days of the wedding day.
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY MAKEUP APPLICATION?
One week prior to your makeup appointment, make sure that you are consistent with your skincare regimen by cleansing and moisturizing, day and night. Drink plenty of water. Use a gentle exfoliator on your skin twice a week. Clean up your brow shape by either tweezing, waxing or threading.
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL MAKEUP APPLICATION LOOK LIKE?
The skin will be prepped for makeup by removing any excess makeup or dirt on the skin. Moisturizer and primer is applied according to your skin type. Eye makeup will be done prior to the foundation to avoid eye shadow “fallout”. Brows are filled in followed by contour, bronzer, blush and highlighter. Lashes are then applied following a lip color. The look is completed with setting powder and finishing spray.
CAN I BOOK “JUST EYES”?
No, I do not book partial makeup applications.
HOW LONG WILL MY MAKEUP APPLICATION TAKE?
When booking your special occasion makeup appointment, please allow for one hour and 15 minutes. If you are booking a bridal makeup trial, please allow 2 hours time. If you are a bride, please allow 1 hour for yourself and 45 minutes per member of the bridal party on the wedding day.
